Daniel Clarry has a general commercial practice in line with Chambers’ profile. He has a particular interest in commercial trust disputes and applications by trustees for judicial advice.
Before his call to the Bar, he worked as a litigation lawyer for the competition regulators in Australia and the United Kingdom and as a judge’s associate in the Supreme Court of Queensland and the Federal Court of Australia. He holds degrees in commerce and law from the University of Queensland and postgraduate degrees from McGill University and the University of Cambridge. He has also held fellowships and teaching positions at Cambridge, Harvard Law School and the London School of Economics. His publications have been cited by courts in various common law jurisdictions.
